Log entry 3

How much volume does a human take?

1 litre of water = 1kg

The density of a human being is just about the same as that of water, since when an average human body is put into water, it barely floats in it.

So it’s density varies from just below, to just above 1.0g/cm^3

Muscle weight = 1.06g/ml

Fat= 0.9g/ml

Volume= weight/density

As I weight 70gk, my displacement is ( with a 5% approximation error) 70ltrs or 0.07m^3
